These 12 B2–C1 words and collocations are useful for IELTS Writing Task 2 and Speaking Part 3 when discussing education policy, classroom practice and learning outcomes.

lifelong learning noun phrase
The ongoing process of gaining knowledge and skills throughout a person's life, beyond formal schooling.

pedagogy noun
The methods and practice of teaching, including how lessons are planned and delivered.

curriculum reform noun phrase
Planned changes to what is taught in schools or institutions, often to update content or methods.

equitable access noun phrase
Fair and impartial availability of educational resources and opportunities to all students.

critical thinking noun phrase
